HRH Princess Sirivannavari Extends Support to Patients during October Global Breast Cancer Awareness month organized by Kanjanabaramee Foundation.
HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya graciously presided over the opening of the project ‘October 2023, Global Breast Cancer Awareness Month,’ organized by the Kanjanabaramee Foundation at the Royal Grounds in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. As part of the ongoing charitable initiative ‘Princess Collection’ by the SIRIVANNAVARI brand in collaboration with Wacoal, HRH Princess Sirivannavari also bestowed the Royal Gift of the Balancing Bra, a post-mastectomy undergarment, from the charitable initiative ‘Princess Collection.’ The collaboration between the SIRIVANNAVARI brand and Wacoal designed this unique undergarment personally by Her Royal Highness. The recipients included Ms. Uthai Songprasarn, a breast cancer survivor representative, and Dr. Somyot Deerasamee, Chairman of the Kanjanabaramee Foundation. The items will be distributed to patients in need across various hospitals nationwide, especially those in remote areas.
“Princess Collection” – a charity initiative aimed at amplifying breast cancer awareness and empowering women in Thailand, raising funds for the Kanjanabaramee Foundation and National Cancer Institute Foundation. The Kanjanabaramee Foundation, established in 1992 by H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, is directing its efforts towards a mobile mammogram service caravan, dedicated to early detection and preventive care for breast cancer—the most prevalent form of cancer among women in Thailand and worldwide. Furthermore, funds raised from the ‘Princess Collection’ project will also contribute to The National Cancer Institute Foundation. As the prominent institution for cancer control and patient care in Thailand, this organization focuses on advancing the development and improvement of cancer-related knowledge and technology.
